From £3,600 a month
Read moreA long brief without acceptance criteria or milestones gives the client and the agency two different versions of the truth. Every gap becomes a change request, the time goes on meetings, and the extra cost lands somewhere: a used contingency, a change order, or retainer hours spent on work that should have been in scope.
The fix is unglamorous and it works: milestones, and for every part of the statement of work a defined output, an agreed cost and a clear test for sign-off, before any code is written.
The 69-page exampleTell me where things stand. No finished brief needed.
A fixed-price brief with milestones, acceptance criteria and an estimate range.
With me, or with the agency you choose, against the agreed criteria.
I stay on for agreed days to hold everyone to it.
Send them over. I’ll tell you what each one actually includes, and what it leaves out.
Talk through your projectI advise on projects and also offer direct builds. If Vision2 could deliver the work, I make that commercial interest clear when comparing the options. The written brief is yours to take to another supplier.
The recommendation may be a Vision2 build, an agency, improving what you already have, or leaving a change out. Scoping and any subsequent implementation are agreed separately, with their own deliverables and costs.
Tell me where things stand, what needs to change and any date you are working towards.
You might have a project to scope, systems that aren’t joining up, or a task that keeps taking too much time. You don’t need a finished brief to start a conversation.
A few lines about the situation, the people involved and what a useful result would look like are enough. I’ll come back to you personally with a practical next step.
