Websites and online shops that work for your business

From eCommerce stores and content-managed websites to customer portals and integrations, I connect the customer experience with the systems behind it.

Websites from £3,500 · online shops from £5,000 · care plans from £95 a month · All prices

Talk through your project

When the website is holding the business back

  • Your site is slow, dated or hard to update, and every change needs a developer.
  • You sell online, or want to, but the shop doesn’t talk to your stock or orders.
  • You’re on an old platform and not sure whether to upgrade or move.
  • The last build overran, and you want this one agreed properly.

Sites and shops that do a job, not just look the part

Business websites

Content-managed sites your team can update without a developer: services, case studies, team, news and enquiry forms, with clear structure and fast pages.

From £3,500

Online shops

WooCommerce stores with product data, variations, payments, delivery rules, click and collect, trade pricing and stock that stays in step with your other systems.

From £5,000

Rebuilds and migrations

Moving off an old site or platform with content, data and redirects mapped and checked. We agree what must transfer, test it before launch and monitor afterwards to reduce disruption.

The right one for the job, said plainly

  • WordPress and WooCommerce for most businesses: you own it, it’s flexible, and there’s a large pool of people who can support it.
  • Shopify where a simple, hosted shop is the better fit and you’re happy to rent the platform.
  • Magento and Adobe Commerce: larger builds and retainers led with your developers or a specialist agency, with me owning priorities, budgets and the roadmap on your side. I can also take on scoped updates to smaller stores I’ve built and know; inherited stores are assessed first. Magento advice and delivery
  • Not sure? Choosing a platform sets out what each really costs to own.

Agreed before it starts, checked before it’s done

  • A written scope with milestones and acceptance criteria, so you know what you’re getting
  • A fixed price, or a range with the unknowns named
  • Progress you can see, milestone by milestone
  • Testing against the agreed criteria before sign-off
  • Speed, mobile, accessibility and search basics done properly
  • Training for your team, and documentation for whoever supports it next
  • The option of a care plan from £95 a month

Builds I’ve led

  • A heritage food brand’s WooCommerce relaunch, delivered on time and within budget.
  • A parts retailer’s move from Magento 1 to WooCommerce, with a vehicle lookup built on DVLA and parts data.
  • A 250,000-product catalogue migrated from Magento to WooCommerce.
  • Hyvä front-end builds and multi-site Adobe Commerce for an international watch group.

  3. Check

Tested against the agreed criteria before anything is signed off.

  4. Hand over and look after

Documentation, training and, if you want it, a care plan from £95 a month.

Support that grows with your business

Start with the work you need now. As the business grows, I can keep the platform knowledge and roadmap with you, building directly where the scope fits and leading agencies when the programme needs a wider team.

Build what you need now

Direct website, shop, portal and integration builds typically up to around £50,000, with the platform, scope and price agreed before work starts.

Improve as you grow

Care, scoped improvements, integrations and automation, with regular priorities and roadmap reviews sized to the work and budget available.

Support for growing businesses

Lead the wider programme

For larger builds and ongoing agency programmes, fractional technical delivery leadership on your side: the brief, suppliers, retainer, budget, testing and roadmap owned together.

Fractional delivery leadership

Around £50,000 is a guide to the direct-build work I target. Complexity and specialist needs can call for an agency earlier, and delivery support can start at any growth stage. The approach applies across platforms; implementation scope is agreed for each project.

What are you trying to get moving?

Tell me where things stand, what needs to change and any date you are working towards.

You might have a project to scope, systems that aren’t joining up, or a task that keeps taking too much time. You don’t need a finished brief to start a conversation.

Start with what’s getting in the way.

A few lines about the situation, the people involved and what a useful result would look like are enough. I’ll come back to you personally with a practical next step.
