Devon businesses I can help

  • A hotel, holiday let or leisure business that wants direct bookings instead of paying commission.
  • A shop or producer selling online whose site needs to keep up with stock, orders and trade customers.
  • A growing firm with agencies and software piling up, and no one senior to own it.
  • A business losing hours every week to admin that could be simplified or automated.

Devon-based, agency-trained

I led delivery at GSL Media in Plymouth, on projects for South West businesses including Rodda’s, China Fleet Country Club and Vospers Parts, and then at Foundation Commerce for national and international brands. Now independent again, working from Kingsteignton.

Several of the demo sites on this site are built for fictional West Country businesses: a harbour hotel, a kitchen shop, a holiday cottage and a barber.

  2. A fixed quote or a scoping brief

What you get, what it costs and when, in writing.

  3. Built and checked

You see it working before it goes live.

  4. Looked after

A care plan, or agreed days each month if you need a delivery lead.

Working with a Devon consultant: common questions

Where are you based?

Kingsteignton, near Newton Abbot, in Teignbridge. I work with businesses across Devon, including Exeter, Torbay and Plymouth, and across the South West.

Do you work with businesses outside Devon?

Yes. Most of the work runs on calls and shared documents, so I work with businesses anywhere in the UK. When being on site helps, we agree it as part of the scope.

Can we meet in person?

Yes. I’m happy to meet in person across Devon, for a first conversation or for parts of the work where being in the room helps.

Are you an agency?

No. Vision2 is just me. I scope and advise, and build on WordPress and WooCommerce, with Shopify setup and integrations where they fit. I lead larger Magento and Adobe Commerce programmes with your developers or a specialist agency, managing retainers, roadmaps and delivery. I can take on scoped updates to smaller stores I have built and know; inherited stores are assessed first.

What does it cost to get started?

The first call is free. After that, work is quoted as a fixed fee in writing before it begins: scoping from £750, websites from £3,500. The pricing page has the details.

Talk through your project

What are you trying to get moving?

Tell me where things stand, what needs to change and any date you are working towards.

You might have a project to scope, systems that aren’t joining up, or a task that keeps taking too much time. You don’t need a finished brief to start a conversation.

Start with what’s getting in the way.

A few lines about the situation, the people involved and what a useful result would look like are enough. I’ll come back to you personally with a practical next step.

The privacy policy explains how I handle your enquiry and personal information.
